This show will have hundreds of beautiful quality quilts, wall hangings, quilted clothing and bags made by our guild members in a wide array of quilting styles. There will be a merchant mall, viewer’s choice, tea room, door prizes and a fabulous raffle quilt. Please join us for a day of great fun, good food, and of course, plenty of quilting inspirations!

Visit the best farmer’s market in York Region!
Every Saturday Morning from the first weekend in May to the last weekend in October, a band of farmers, vendors and volunteers create a hive of activity reminiscent of the town’s early years as a new market. With over 40 local farmers and local businesses, the market is a place to buy farm fresh produce, home-made baking, hand-made crafts and a great place to meet up with friends over breakfast or lunch.

Join the Pine Tree Potters’ Guild for their annual Spring Show. During this event, over 2000 unique pieces of both functional and decorative porcelain, stoneware, and Raku pottery are on sale. Guild members are available during sale hours to answer your questions. At each sale a piece of pottery is selected as a door prize. Everyone is welcome to fill out a door prize ballot, which is drawn at the end of the sale.
Guild members donate pieces of their work, and the proceeds from the sale of these pieces are donated to the Empty Bowls charities.

Our small-town Pride vibe returns to Main Street in celebration of 10 years of the York Pride Parade and 23 years of Pride events in York Region. This dazzling display of 2SLGBTQ+ brilliance showcases the beauty and strength in pride and self-expression, as we continue to show what community truly looks like.
As the biggest event of the York Pride Festival, all eyes will be on our 2,500 marchers as over 50 floats and groups take over Main Street. Expect all your Parade favourites, from the famous rumble of the motor bikes to the quintessential community groups, and the many wonders of our 2SLGBTQ+ communities.
Watch this year’s theme “Sharing our Stories” come to life from new viewing areas on the street or our premium viewing spaces with our partners– as bigger floats, live music and bubbles elevate the spectacle that is the Parade, along the entire revamped route from Ontario St to Water St.
Activities begin at Riverwalk Commons at 12PM and the Pride Parade starts at 3PM.

Join us on the Civic Long Weekend for a special concert featuring The Good Brothers and The Sadies!
Celebrate this Civic long weekend with a special concert featuring The Good Brothers and The Sadies. The Good Brothers, originally from Richmond Hill, are inductees to the Canadian Country Hall of Fame along with many other awards and recognitions (see bio below), and 2023 marks 50 years of making music for folks at home and around the world. The Sadies are a well-established rock n’ roll band from Ontario that in 2023 won the Juno Award for Adult Alternative Album of the Year. Join us as we celebrate these great achievements on August 6th.

- The Good Brothers will be performing from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m.
- The Sadies will perform from 7:45 to 9 p.m.

Visitors are able to see a wide variety of juried, original art on display in artists’ home studios, in local businesses, and at public facilities.
