Newmarket’s historic Main Street, will become a pedestrian zone from Water Street to Park Avenue, Main Street will become a pedestrian zone, where visitors are invited to enjoy:

Celebrating more than 25 years, the Newmarket Farmers Market received the Award of Excellence from Farmer’s Markets of Ontario in 2024!
Every Saturday Morning from the first weekend in May to the last weekend in October, a band of farmers, vendors and volunteers create a hive of activity reminiscent of the town’s early years as a new market. With over 40 local farmers and local businesses, the market is a place to buy farm fresh produce, home-made baking, hand-made crafts and a great place to meet up with friends over breakfast or lunch.
